In Denmark, I stayed at Danhostel Copenhagen city, H.C Anderson boulevard 50.
DENMARK
is beautiful and has lots of history. I was only there for 2 days, and it was wonderful! People there are beautiful and everyone rides a bicycle! ->That is mostly because it is so HECKA expensive there probably, so no one wants to drive! Food is also very expensive, eg. 5 Kroner=about$1, but a McDonalds happy meal is 50 kroner, which is still $10.00!!!WHATTT! so at the hostel i stayed in they provided breakfast and I would bring some plastic baggies and sneak extra food into my purse so I wouldn't have to buy lunch, only dinner. Plus this was my last stop on my Europe trip so I was running out of money.
Things to do include:
FREDRISKSBORG CASTLE (in Hillerod)
Fredrisksborg Castle Museum, Chapel, here you can see with your on two eyes the 23 original Carl Bloch paintings of the life of Christ, also original pictures of Audry Hepburn, marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol etc, the beautiful Castle grounds.
VOR FRUE KIRKE
(Thorvaldsen's origional Christus, and statues of the 12 apostles)
COPENHAGEN TEMPLE
My first experience with an "ordinary-on-the-outside-looking-temple"It used to be a bomb shelter, that was turned into a chapel.. It goes deep down into the ground. The renovated it to become a temple in 2004 and is spectacular on the inside.
BOAT TOUR OF COPENHAGEN HARBOR, THE LITTLE MIRMAID, THE ROYAL PALACE, CHANGING OF THE GUARD THERE, THE FAMOUSE TIVOLI GARDENS, DANISH PORCELAIN FACTORY, DANISH PASTRIES.
SWEDEN
You can take an under ocean train over to Malmoe, Sweden from the Copenhagen main station. This is just a fun day trip you can take. Eat Swedish Meatballs, see the tallest building in Sweden, see Ikea and see the Ocean!
More countries I need to make friends with people that live there so that they can show me the ins and outs when I go back!
