Ellen!
After 5 years of applying to be in the audience of the Ellen show, I finally got tickets!!! I love Ellen so much, her message to spread kindness and positivity are very contagious. Her pranks are hilarious and She makes everyone feel good and is just so fun!
After parking, checking in, getting our seat number and hanging in the “riffraff room”/Ellen store, we loaded up in the studio. It was fun to see the set and all the lights and cameras in person.
There was a man who told us the rules and let us know when to clap/stand/dance etc. and while we were practicing and waiting for Ellen (basically just having a dance party while we waited) he chose some people to go up on her stage in front of everyone to dance and yes, he picked ME and my BELLY to go up- it was wild and hilarious! But I got a T-shirt and Ellen water for participating🙌🏼 Ellen came out and told us some jokes then interviewed savannah Guthrie from the Today show and Nacho Figueras a polo player. She played a game with a super fan/audience member, then changed wardrobe to film a segment for a different day and interviewed 2 dancing sisters, the younger one beat cancer twice. And then Savannah came back out and interviewed Ellen.
This was just such a great experience, I love the Ellen vibe! She gave the whole audience a new Hatchimals hatchibaby (Ivy’s gift from soon to be baby brother, yes!) and a $150 visa gift card... just because 🤷🏻♀️🎉 she is so generous to everyone!
The last thing we did as an audience was clap for 7 segments for Twitch at the end- he was super fun and I loved to see him dance in real life!! A super fun day and a great experience. Hopefully all that dancing will help induce labor sooner!
