Would you just look at this happy happy baby and her dog!!!
Since returning to work on April 3, we have definitely had to get into a new groove around here.
Ivy is just such an easy, happy baby that we can adjust to whatever is going on.
I just had to buy this new little swim suit for her!
Here are my teacher friends and me! We met up at the bike trail and went for a walk and talked and talked! It's fun to have other woman in my same circumstance of life. Jahanna and I had already returned to work at this point and Mackenzie and Christina were still on maternity leave. So fun!
Jeremy's truck and new asphalt equipment is finally ready from the long winter work to get it all working and looking great. He has scraped out his tanks, cleaned the buggy, bought this new big truck, welded it all together, put in the agitator and had it painted and wrapped. This year, he also has a new spray system to help save material!
APRIL 2017
After work on Friday, we went Camping at Wind wolves preserve with the Lord's. We all had a great time. We ate tinfoil dinners and a Dutch Oven pudding.
We love getting out in nature with Ivy!
She was a champ in the tent! I had to wake up with her a few times in the night and it was so cold I brought her into bed/our blow up mattress with us. I got no sleep, but loved the extra snuggle time!
The next morning after breakfast, we went on a long, pretty hike.

Easter Sunday
Loving Ivy in her little Easter dress :)
That day Chris Venter came over for Easter Dinner. We had a nice time catching up. He is South African and we used to work together at Boston Pizza and now he's in Bakersfield completing his medical residency at Kern medical... There have been a lot of medical students come over here lately! Exciting to be able to meet new friends!
Snug as a bug going for a walk!
Aunt Mattie came to play and watch Ivy while I returned to work in between when my nanny Kaylee would get home from school to tend Ivy. Ivy LOOOOOOVES Mattie!
We got ourselves a future rock climber!
Gosh I love, love, love these little hands!
Mattie, Jer, Ivy and I went to Yosemite April 28-30th. There was sooo much water everywhere we just had the best time. It's so beautiful there.
Here is us hiking the Mist trail.
Yep, Mattie broke her foot but was still determined to do it on her crutches!
Amazing!
We had such a good time staying at House Keeping camp in our tent cabin. It was great having a cot and not having to set up a tent etc.
Nevada falls
Upper and lower Yosemite falls.
Bringing a bicycle is always a good idea when visiting Yosemite!
We have so much to explore still... though we did take Ivy on a few questionable trails in her bike trailer...
the pram-wheel chair!
The water was flowing.
My happy place.
On our way home we stopped and ate at the Cheesecake factory in Fresno- YUM!!!
While we were in Yosemite, Grandma White passed away. We booked tickets and flew out Wednesday. It was great seeing family and for Ivy to meet everyone. She got passed around a lot and missed some naps but she was a total trooper. It was so fun to have her meet her cousins.
Found a few old gems from the old family photo album!
I can see SO much of Ivy in baby Jeremy!
Cole loving on the cutest baby on the planet!
Good bye grandma White, RIP
Wenatchee was in full Spring mode, it was beautiful.
Of coarse we visited Leavenworth for some Brats, to visit the toy shop, get an ice cream cone and play a round of Mini golf!
Ivy has started to sit up with less support. Love this cute, smart baby girl!
Look mom, I can fold in half!
It was a whirlwind trip, that's for sure!
Standing!!
No, not really... more like leaning.
Playing on the floor, holding ivy above my head and....
Yep... spit up in the face. #motherhood
Ivy smiles every time she sees herself in the mirror, I love it!
Daniel and Sara got a new dog, Merlin. Belle has a friend!
Teaching Ivy about Dad's credit cards :)
This outfit!!!!
Featured in the school newspaper this week! hahaha
Belle is becoming more and more comfortable with Ivy! This makes me so happy!
To celebrate Mothers day this year (MAY 14, 2017) we went to Universal Studios -> this is the only photo I took but we just had the best day ever!! Sunday morning, I got breakfast in bed and flowers from Jer. I am so happy to finally get to celebrate Mother's day the real way and not the "pity" way haha.
LOL this face! I love it!
When Ivy was just shy of 6 months old, (by 10 days) we fed her rice cereal!
She enjoyed it very much, but has since discovered butternut squash and could eat the stuff all day long!
Ivy isn't too keen on Tummy time and rolls to her back as quick as she can. Though her little push ups are strong, she likes to be on her back where she can play with her toes.
Who wouldn't want to play with those little piggies!
Her view vs. our view <3
#naps
Here is a pic from me as a baby in my ducky bath and then Ivy... she still looks a lot like Jer.
