To start any trip out right you need a mani/Pedi right?
WELL, I got mine, and then Jer got his... Here is the story: We flew out of LAX early Friday morning, so we decided to stay the night Thursday and go to the Temple.
Jer is sitting there trying to clean the Asphalt off of his hands to look nice and clean for the Lord's house and he starts digging into what he thought was some gunk in his scar. When he was about 12, someone rode over his finger wearing ice-skates and he got surgery on his little finger. Well now, on this night, about 14 years later, after years of thinking it was some kind of Wort or bone fragments that he has tried aimlessly to cut and burn off throughout the years, he finds that it is in actual fact an old STITCH!
He scratched away some layers of skin and POP there it is.
It took a few days, but he got it all out- crazy!
Anyhow, we left from LA, flew into Tri-cities/Pasco WA, picked up out little rental car and drove to Wenatchee, and then to Chelan.
The White Family reunion celebrations were already underway!
Grandpa and Grandma White had 9 Kids, now they have about 50 grandkids and a bunch of great-grandkids. ALL of which have been on missions and married in the temple.
What an amazing dynasty!
The theme was taken from Duck Dynasty and their Red-neck ways :)
Not too many things beat this view.
It got windy, so of coarse the boys were out on the waves!
Ice cream from Pan 'n Mikes! -Of coarse
Love all the Vineyard houses in Chelan, I wouldn't mind one of my own... some day.
Dusk boat rides with Bridger! Love to ride along the edge of the lake and look at all the houses/cabins.
Morning Run with Uncle Conrad! NEW 10 mile PR! SunRISE!
This photo cracks me up every time.
17 cousins on the deck, all lined up, fast asleep.
We should turn that into a little jingle.
Morning paddle-boarding with McKenzie, yes, in our matching swimming suits!
Some morning Yoga on the dock.
Some skits and talks:
And lots of games and activities:
My personal fave: Tractor rope swing
Shooting BB's at water balloons. Great target practice.
Some Wake surfing time:
Yes, I was terrified,
No big deal... I got the hang of it in a few days.
Love how Jer always pushes me to try new things, out of my comfort zone.
We also threw in a little baby shower for cute Lexie, where we played some fun games and such:
Sunday Frisbee golf and playing at the park with the Warner clan:
Side note: This is My Mother-in-law's garage and yard. #shessocool
Some more Boating/Wakeboarding/wakesurfing
Look at him fly!
Happiest on the water
All in all, of coarse, a wonderful week. There is so much to do when you live on a lake in the mountains. I have been so blessed to marry into a wonderful family :)
