Ivy's first 6 weeks:
The name Ivy is English, it means faithfulness

Sarah Driscol took our family photos and Ivy's new born pictures, we love how they turned out!
Ivy is such a good baby. She is so chill and easy going.
I love giving her baths, getting her dressed and giving her snuggles all day long.
She is a complete blessing to our family.
She loves sleeping with her little arms up by her head and she fights them free out of her swaddle all the time.
We have heard many times that "life is over when you have kids", for us, life is just beginning! It's not over, it's just different. Since she is so easy going, we continue to go out and also have friends over often. Here is little Eliza holding Ivy's hand :)
I am a vicious mamma bear when it comes to people being sick around her- she got a little cold at 2 weeks and it took a good month to be rid of it, it was awful. Thank goodness for the nose frida!
Below are some pictures of Jer when he was a baby- Ivy looks JUST like him!!!
So crazy!
More snuggles from Eliza! These photo's will be so precious when they grow up.
Around 3 weeks, Ivy got a bad case of baby acne. Her face looked worse than a 14 year-old boy!! That didn't stop us from kissing her 1000 times a day and it also didn't seem to bother her.
I love all of these little outfits.
First time putting my jeans back on... they are still snug, but I'm glad they fit! I can't wait to have my body back in shape, I have felt like a big fatty boom boom for a LONG time!
Mom and dad and Ivy, so sweet. They LOVE their grandbaby!
December 11, 2016
Today was Ivy's blessing day. It was perfect.
Jeremy gave the blessing and my dad, Jeff, Kevin Wood, Daniel Lord, Wes Cardall and Bishop Pruett were in the circle. Ivy wore my blessing dress from 1988.
Here is the blessing:
Our dear Heavenly Father, by the power of the holy Melchezedic priesthood which we hold, we gather here today to give this child a name and the name by which she will be known by the records of the church is Ivy Kathleen Warner. At this time we would like to give her a blessing as well. We bless her with continued strength that she might continue to be an example to those around her, that she might find joy in this life. That through her faithfulness and diligence she might bring others to Christ, that she will be an influence in this world. That she will continue to grow and develop. That she will know of the love that her immediate family and extended family has for her, that she will always be able to draw strength from them. We bless her that through her diligence that she will continue to progress through life to find a worthy husband, be able to marry in the temple and receive all the blessings which though has in store for her. We say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Favorite PJ's, SO CUTE!
Here is Belle always watching over us and by my side!
We still did our Christmas tradition of going to the zoo lights, but this year had Ivy with us too! Kids make Christmas so much more magical! Ivy did great wearing her in my Mobe wrap carrier.
Matching PJ's!!
Ivy takes a soothie pacifier really well.
We have also introduced a bottle to her. I have been storing some pumped mothers milk, and Jeremy will feed her with a bottle a few times a week.
She is perfect, many babies won't take a dummy or bottle, my baby does it all, she is so smart!!!
This is how I made dinner tonight haha, Ivy in the pram right next to me! I talk to her all day when she is awake. She sleeps about 16-18 hours a day though.
This is how we hang out and talk a lot of the time.
I am still recovering so I don't stand up too much with her yet.
It's finally the first day of winter and it's starting to look like fall over here. We went on a long walk with Miriam because I was feeling pretty good. Ivy did great, she slept the whole time... I, however, was really sore afterward and felt like I took two steps back in my recovery. Doc says my sutchers are still holding things together so I need to continue to take it easy. It took me a few days to recover from the walk! I just want to be all healed already!!! I'm dying to exercise etc.
Jer got Ivy dressed today, bow and all! LOVE this little outfit!
Her arm is wrapped around meeeee!!!!! haha pretty much any thing she does we swoon and gush over.
Belle bell has been so great with Ivy, Look at them just chilling!
Nothing sweeter than some (almost turning blue) baby eyes looking right at you!
She is very responsive when we talk to her, we love it.
Some nights, Jer sleeps out on the couch when he has to work the next day so he can get some actual rest, his replacement is Belle Belle... she snores sometimes but is great company. When she hears Ivy cry in the night, we grumbles and then goes back to sleep haha
Playing in the morning after a bath!
IVY HAS FOUND HER SMILES!!!!!
She smiles ALL the time now, I love it!!
Especially when Jeremy talks to her <3
Little teddy bear onesie, I love it!
She took a nap in her crib for the first time! She is so tiny in there!
She sleeps nicely in her crib, her rocker, her car seat, on the bed, or in my arms- I hope she will be able to fall asleep anywhere as we develop good sleeping habits for her.
Ivy LOVES bath time. She enjoys the warm water and doesn't even cry at all. Love me a clean sweet smelling baby! Really, the only thing that ever smells (other than a poopy bum) is her neck skin haha there are so many folds that things can get stuck in!
Ivy is lucky to be on earth at such a magical time of the year. She loves looking at the lights on the tree and hanging out with me watching lifetime Christmas movies!
Aunt Laurel made Ivy a beautiful Christmas blanket :)
Looking right at her dad
Ummmm, are these the CUTEST slippers you have EVER seen!?
Aunt Mattie Came to spend Christmas with us. She is wonderful with Ivy and I'm so glad they will have such a close relationship. Ivy sure loves her.
We went and found some snow at Alta Sierra. Ivy was a good baby and slept the whole time!
Snowy family picture!

Belle protecting the presents!
CHRISTMAS DAY 2016
A happy girl in her Christmas dress
My heart is so full.
Being a mom to baby Ivy is the most wonderful blessing I could ever ask for. We prayed and did all we could for 4 long years for this baby girl. I had no idea how much I would love her and how worth it- everything I went through- was to get her here. She truly is a little angel sent from heaven. She is such a good baby, we count our lucky stars every day. It's been extra special to have her around while I'm on maternity leave and while Jeremy's business is slower this time of the year.
We took a ride in uncle Jeff's new plane the day after Christmas, it was so fun and a super cool experience!
Ivy is tipping the scales at almost 9lbs and has a huge head for her body. She only fits into newborn sized clothing, but wears a 3mo hat!
She was struggling at night with lower gas and tummy aches, I stopped drinking milk and she's been doing great ever since. I was also producing A LOT of mothers milk and she would spit up a lot, now we have that under control too :)
Loving all the smiles and cuteness!
I went to target hoping to get a new outfit for myself- I'm in this weird in-between phase where my body doesn't fit into my regular clothes and is too small for my maternity sized clothes.
After trying half the store on, I left with 5 outfits... for Ivy... and some nursing pads for myself haha
#thisislifenow
We drove up to Salt Lake for a few days so Jer could snowboard and see family. Ivy did great on the 10 hour trip and was the highlight everywhere we went.
We saw Kat and Andrew, and Ivy had a great time taking a ride on Andrew's scooter thing!
Stopped to see Aunt Deb and uncle Mike in St. George
Ivy goes to Temple Square
We enjoyed hanging out with cousin Kamry while Jer and the guys went skiing.
Of coarse, we got the old gang together and had the best night ever!
Ivy is one lucky girl to be surrounded by so many people who love her already!
We stayed with Bev and Conrad and had a great time.
I'm still only wearing stretchy clothes but am feeling better and better and can finally walk about 2 miles with not too much pain.
When we got home from Salt Lake, Ivy (and I) had a rough day: She wanted to nurse every hour, needed to be held at all times, sometimes in weird positions to fall asleep, as soon as I put her down she would cry, she was very fussy and wouldn't sleep -well-only cat nap. I am SO GLAD that every day is not like this!!! And thankfully, Jeremy took her in the night so I could get some rest. From all the standing, swaying and rocking my back was killing me and my biceps were burning!
This motherhood thing is quite emotionally and physically exhausting at times.
Good reminder right here:
Hooray!!! we have our sweet, chill, happy, good sleeping, good eating Ivy back!!
In fact, for the past few nights, she has slept from about midnight->5/7am and then will take a good long morning nap after she's been fed. Hallelujah!
Ivy chilled in the truck while we went and played with our Christmas presents. I got her some cute noise canceling head phones that I think will come in real handy with all the activities we enjoy doing.
Jeremy with his girls!
Here is Ivy at 7 weeks old. She is a perfect, sweet, happy, chill angel sent from heaven. I cannot express enough how much I love her and what a joy she is in my life. I am excited to raise her and see the type of person she becomes. I know there will be ups and downs and challenges along the way but every minute of it will be well worth it. Things are just so good, I am blessed. I am bursting with love for my little family.
